The working approach
The work begins with evidence. Plans, estimates, proposals, property records, material information, correspondence, schedules, and prior decisions are examined before recommendations are made.
The next step is to identify what is missing, inconsistent, unresolved, or assigned to the wrong stage of the project. From there the work is organized, the necessary participants are coordinated, and the decisions required to continue are documented.
Different projects, different specialists
Projects may require architects, engineers, brokers, contractors, inspectors, estimators, surveyors, designers, or suppliers.
Martin Design & Development helps determine where those roles are required and coordinates their work within the defined project scope. Licensed and regulated work is performed through the appropriate professionals.
Some of these roles are filled by companies under common ownership with Martin Design & Development, including Rural Exports and Rural Logistics. That relationship is disclosed in writing on any project where it applies.

Robyn Martin
Robyn Martin runs Martin Design & Development.
She spent ten years as a gun hand on her father and uncle's framing crew. She has built custom cabinets, and worked remodels on and off through college. For the last ten years she has run the office for her father's construction company and her brother's real estate company.
Construction has been her family's work in East Texas since 1954. Her father started in the trade at ten years old. Her mother's father and his family built on the commercial side.
She holds a Texas real estate license, currently inactive. Real estate representation is not offered until it is reactivated.
